About the Expedition

The Cape West Coast is one of South Africa's most exciting seasonal whale watching areas. From November to March, the nutrient-rich Benguela upwelling system can attract large gatherings of Humpback Whales, creating exceptional opportunities for expedition-style whale watching from Yzerfontein.

This is not a standard short whale watching cruise. It is a longer, weather-dependent expedition designed for adventurous guests who want to experience the open ocean, Humpback Whales, seabirds and the wild Cape West Coast coastline.
